Protection

[pruh·TEK·shuhn] / noun

The boring stuff that keeps your day from ending in sirens. Protection is everything between you and the hazard: the hard hat, the glasses, the guard, the lockout, the warning sign that screams “don’t” before the machine does. It is not optional and it is not a vibe. It is the difference between a normal shift and a very expensive lesson with stitches.

Frequently Asked Questions

You’ve got questions. We’ve heard them all, usually right before something caught fire, fell over, or got “temporarily” fixed with duct tape.

This isn’t a FAQ, it’s a survival guide for people who work where chaos lives.

We’ll cover materials, sizing, and installs, plus the real-world stuff: indoor vs outdoor durability, what to pick for rough environments, and how to mount a sign so it doesn’t end up face down in the mud. We’ll talk custom requests, proof approvals, and what happens when your shiny new sign meets a forklift, a pressure washer, or a foreman with zero patience.

Read it, learn something, and keep your crew out of trouble. Mistakes cost money. Near-misses cost time. Both create paperwork.

Our Products

(What we make, how we make it, and what makes it better.)

We offer more sizes, more materials, and more attitude. Every sign can be customized with your branding so your site actually looks like yours, not a template factory. We’re not the cheapest — we’re the ones that last. Built tough, priced fair, and designed to deliver real value instead of excuses.

We use industry-standard materials — the same stuff trusted on real jobsites, warehouses, and production floors. The right material depends on your application, and we’ll help you choose what fits your space and environment. Our signs don’t just look good — they’re built to work where things actually happen.

We don’t do flimsy. Every sign we produce is printed on jobsite-grade material that’s built to survive real-world abuse. Choose from a lineup that covers just about every surface you can bolt, stick, or hang a sign to:

– 4mm / 6mm / 8mm / 10mm Coroplast – Lightweight, durable, and weather-resistant.
– 13mil Floor Graphics – Built to take foot traffic, forklifts, and whatever else rolls through.
– 3mm Aluminum Composite Panel (ACM) – Rigid, clean, and built to last.
– 3.5mil Gloss White Vinyl (Permanent Adhesive) – A classic that sticks where you need it to.
– 6mil Perforated Adhesive Vinyl (60/40) – Visibility from inside, message from outside.
– 3mm PVC – Smooth, strong, and great for long-term installs.
– Low Tack Wall Decal (7mil) – Easy on walls, tough on visibility.

Every option we carry is designed for clarity, toughness, and impact — because safety doesn’t mean boring.

We don’t believe in one-size-fits-all safety. While most suppliers stop at three, we offer up to ten different sizes to match every surface, space, and scenario.

Available sizes: 12×12, 12×16, 12×18, 18×24, 24×24, 24×32, 24×36, 36×36, 36×48, and 48×48.

Depends. In mild conditions, our high-end substrates and UV-cured inks can last several years. In harsher environments — sun, wind, heat, or heavy abuse — coroplast might hold up for 6–12 months, while rigid materials like ACM or metal can go 7–10 years or more.

We print everything using UV-cured inks and industrial-grade materials that hold up against the elements. That said, if a forklift’s bashing into your sign, it doesn’t matter what it’s made of — it’s going to lose that fight.

We design with core safety principles in mind, but it’s up to you to make sure your sign meets WSIB, CSA, or OSHA requirements. Our signs make safety impossible to ignore — the compliance part’s on you.

Customization & Design

(Logos, layouts, and custom work that looks like you.)

Absolutely — it’s one of the things that sets us apart. We’ll add your company logo to your signs at no extra cost. Just send us a vector version (EPS, AI, PDF, or SVG), and we’ll send you a proof before anything goes to print.

If you’re starting with one of the signs we already sell and you just need a small change, that’s on us — 100% free. That includes things like swapping the wording, adding your company name, changing a contact number, updating a location/area, or tweaking the message so it fits your site rules without changing the overall layout.

If what you need is a true custom sign — meaning a brand-new layout, a design built from scratch, custom formatting, or something that doesn’t fit one of our existing templates — we can still do it, but it’s billed at $50/hr.

If you’ve got a custom requirement, email quoting@dontdiesafetysupply.com with:

• what the sign should say
• size + material you want
• where it’ll be used (jobsite, shop, warehouse, etc.)
• any logo/icons you want included (if applicable)

We’ll tell you quickly whether it’s a free tweak or billable custom, and get you moving.

Adding your logo? Free. Changing the message on one of our designs? Free. Building something completely new? $50/hr — a small price for custom design that looks right.

Yes — what you see here is our most popular lineup. For custom or complex work, we have a sister Marketing company that would be more than happy to help. Email alex@exclaimt.ca to learn more.

Absolutely. Every file goes through preflight. We focus on logo clarity and quality, and send you a final press proof before production. Nothing prints until you approve it.

Orders, Shipping & Turnaround

(Everything that happens between “approved” and “delivered.”)

Typically, orders ship within 6–8 business days. Timing depends on logo submission, proof approval, and production load.

Yes — some products qualify for rush service. If it’s available, you’ll see it at checkout.

All orders ship from one of our two Toronto production facilities. One in Markham, Ontario with the second one located in Mississauga, Ontario.

Not right now — cross-border delays and tariffs make delivery of our super amazing safety signage messy. Stay tuned… over time… this may change.

None. Order one or a hundred — quality of our awesome deliverables doesn’t change.

Yep. Once your order’s out the door, you’ll get a tracking number by email.

The Company

Who we are, where we are, and why we exist.

We’re proudly based in Greater Toronto Area.

Because it’s real, blunt, and sticks. The name speaks to the street, the jobsite, the shop floor, the skatepark — no buzzwords, just truth.

Nope. We make signs for any place safety matters — warehouses, offices, schools, shops, hospitals, and more.

The skull’s not a gimmick — it’s a statement. We’re not here to make safety look cute. We’re here to make it impossible to ignore.

Policies & Support

Because even safety companies need fine print.

Email support@dontdiesafetysupply.com — real people, fast responses, no robots.

We print signs, not common sense. If someone ignores it, we can’t refund the stupidity.

You’re covered up to the moment you say “Approved” — full refund until press approval. After that, it’s custom-printed and not returnable.
If your prints arrive damaged or we mess up the production, we’ll reprint at no charge. Email us photos and we’ll fix it.

Please review your proof carefully, we print exactly what’s approved.

If you’ve made it this far, you already care more about safety than half the industry. We’re not here to sell you stickers — we build survival tools disguised as signs. Because when your crew’s safety is on the line, cheap isn’t funny anymore, and cutting corners is just another way to get cut. Every piece we make exists to do one thing — keep people alive long enough to laugh about it later.
